My name is Brody Wade and I am homegrown and raised here in the Albuquerque area! I enjoy all things food, fitness, outdoors, school, family, and of course friends! I hope that you can get to know me better and grow with me as a writer as I take on new adventures throughout my life. I am always up for a challenge and excited to start this journey. Where I'm From:

I am from both Red and Green,  

From the taste of hot & spicy. 

I am from the freshly cooked 

sopapillas (Golden, Soft, Tastes like home) 

I am from the land of beans and chili, 

Whose smells can be identified 

from miles away, as if I can taste them.  

I'm from biscochitos and churros,  

From cinnamon and anise. 

I’m from the chips and salsa, 

And chili con queso too. 

Songs play as we gather around the table, 

Of many languages, 

By the best of Mariachi in town.  

The food served has brought us together. 

I am from times like these, 

Smells and tastes of homegrown foods, 

Tummies and hearts full of warmth, 

And satisfaction.
